When it comes to getting ready for the day, I normally find myself dressed up in a skirt or a super trendy outfit. However, having to be in class all day on some days, that just isn’t the most comfortable. So, I ordered some athleisure wear from Amazon, and it did not disappoint. I wanted a mix of being comfortable, but still trendy and put together, and these pieces are it. I also wanted a mix of mediums too, and not just all leggings, so I have a few different options in this post.
First are the holy grail Kolorful Koala leggings, or better known as the lulu dupes. At a fraction of the price, these leggings are a literal dream. They stretch with your body and not against it, and are comfortably high-rise. My favorite part about them is that they have pockets and come in so many colors. I wear the medium (6/8), so they run true to size. Linked here
Moving on to shorts – biker shorts. Biker shorts have been trending since last fall, and I don’t foresee them going out of style anytime soon. If you don’t have a pair of biker shorts, let these be your first. The brand is GymPeople, and they are my favorite athletic shorts I own. They also have pockets like the leggings and hit at a very flattering length (not a Bermuda style). I am also wearing a medium in these, so I would stick to your true size when ordering. Linked here
Next, and probably my favorite, are the yoga pants. I’ve never bought yoga pants before because I am normally too short for them, but I decided to give them a try. They still ended up being too long for me haha, BUT if you’re in the market for yoga pants, buy these! These pants literally feel like butter and fit like a glove (aside from the length lol). If they were just an inch and a half shorter, they’d be perfect. So, if you’re taller than 5’2, you’re in the clear. They run small, so I sized up to a large. Linked here
& lastly, the tennis skirt. Tennis skirts are the biker shorts of this year. They have become super popular, especially for gameday outfits. It doesn’t have pockets like the other pieces do, but its really flattering because its compressive but not restrictive. I ordered my true size in this, a medium, but would have been okay to size up to a large also. Linked here
